Camila Cabello Earns First Top 10 on Streaming Songs Chart With ‘Havana’

The song’s music video helps it bump 18-7 on the latest chart.

Camila Cabello reaches the top 10 of Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart for the first time as “Havana,” featuring Young Thug, jumps 18-7 on the chart dated Nov. 11 with 24.4 million streams earned in the week ending Oct. 26 (up 38 percent), according to Nielsen Music.

The boost is owed mainly to the release of the song’s music video on Oct. 24, with 41 percent of the track’s overall streams coming from YouTube. Still, “Havana” gained in streams on nearly all providers as it continues its ascent at radio, rising 17-11 on the Pop Songsairplay chart, 31-27 on Adult Pop Songsand 31-26 on Rhythmic Songs. Meanwhile, on the Billboard Hot 100, “Havana” becomes Cabello’s second top 10, leaping 20-7.

Previously, Cabello peaked at No. 11 on Streaming Songs (Feb. 11) with “Bad Things,” her duet with Machine Gun Kelly. “Havana” is also Cabello’s first song to chart on the ranking as the lone lead artist, as previous solo single “Crying in the Club” failed to chart.

A newly released music video also benefits Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang,” which moves 7-3 as the chart’s greatest gainer. The song, which earns 29 million streams (up 32 percent), saw its hotly anticipated clip released on Oct. 23.

On-demand audio streams for “Gucci” continue to increase, however, with the track also moving to No. 3 (6-3) on On-Demand Streaming Songs, accruing 14 million clicks in the week. That rise helps “Gucci” to reach new heights on the Hot 100, becoming Lil Pump’s first top 20 as the track vaults 27-14. That’s also good enough for No. 5 ranks on both the Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songscharts.

Meanwhile, while Young Thug ascends into the top 10 of Streaming Songs as part of Cabello’s “Havana,” he also earns his first top 20 as a lead artist as part of “Patek Water” with Future and featuring Migos’ Offset.

The new track off the Future and Young Thug’s joint mixtape Super Slimey bows at No. 20 with 14.3 million streams. It’s Young Thug’s fourth top 20, but all others came as a featured artist, led by his No. 4 peak as part of Rich Gang’s “Lifestyle” (Nov. 8, 2014).

Future and Young Thug perform at the TIDAL #CM9 Release Concert at Center Stage on Dec. 23, 2016 in Atlanta.
