The Public Health Agency of Canada has launched and investigation into a Salmonella outbreak in western Canada. The origin of the outbreak has not yet been determined however the majority of cases have been linked to eating cucumbers. Thus far, 37 cases have been confirmed in B.C., five in Alberta, and one in Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
