Ed Sheeran heading to Winnipeg this summer Presale tickets for his performance at MTS Centre on sale March 13

English pop star Ed Sheeran is coming back to Winnipeg during his North American tour this summer.

The multi-Grammy winner will play at the MTS centre Saturday, July 22.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale Monday, March 13 at 10 a.m. and the remaining tickets begin to go on sale Friday, March 17.

Sheeran, 26, has been nominated for 11 Grammy awards and won two. His newest album % was number one on iTunes and holds the title for the most streams in one day for a single artist, streamed more than 68 million times.

His hit “Shape of You” has reached double-platinum in sales worldwide.

Sheeran’s summer tour begins in late June and lasts until October.
