SHE WORE FLOWERS IN HER HAIR 2018
She Wore Flowers in Her Hair (in memory of Jaedra Winter) is an all day music festival in support of mental health awareness. Their goal is to raise awareness, spread love & create a community where everyone can feel safe talking about mental health. In order to capture Jaedra’s easy-going, fun loving spirit, they have many performances, speakers and activities planned throughout the day listed below!
Musical Performances by:
Olivia Lunny, Garett & Nazeem, Jackson Martin, Caroline Schultz & Kiera Hahlweg
Key Note Speakers:
Kaylyn Holmes, Brysen Johnson, Ally Raposo
Axe Throwing, Flower Crown Workshop, Braid Bar, Henna, Yoga by Moksha Yoga, Volley Ball Tournament with prizes, Photo Booth with free printed photos, Flower Wing Photo Wall, Silent Auction, Kids Activities, and more!
Ticket Pricing: $15.00
– access to all activities, performers and speakers
– lunch (graciously donated by Pony Corral) * Served 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.*
*Alcohol not tolerated (dry event)
Flower Crown Workshop: $5 * must have purchased general entry ticket to participate *

The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba is a self-help organization dedicated to providing support, education and advocacy for those living with a mood disorder, co-occurring disorders or other mental health illnesses. They increase public awareness about mood disorders and empower people to develop hope and recovery.
