The Winnipeg Jets begin their playoff run tomorrow night at Bell MTS Place and if you were planning on checking out the Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party, there are a few things you need to know.
From noon tomorrow (Wednesday, April 11th) until 1 a.m. on Thursday, April 12th, southbound Donald Street between Portage Avenue and Graham Avenue will be closed.
The Donald Street entrance to the Millennium Library Parkade will not be accessible from 12 p.m. on Wednesday until the street reopens on Thursday. All vehicles will need to enter through the Smith Street entrance. The Donald Street exit will be open.
- Buses will be rerouted off of Graham Avenue from Carlton Street to Smith Street on Wednesday, April 11 beginning at 6 pm and will return to their regular routes at 11 pm
- Bus stops along Graham Avenue eastbound between Hargrave Street and Smith Street will be temporarily relocated to northbound Smith Street at Graham Avenue
- Bus stops along westbound Graham Avenue between Smith Street and Edmonton Street will be temporarily relocated to St. Mary Avenue at Hargrave Street and to Edmonton Street at Graham Avenue
Festivities are free, with food trucks and vendors on site, along with two giant screens will broadcast the game to fans. Events begin on street level at 4:30 pm and puck drop is 6pm.
