Manitoba spending $9.7 Million to upgrade health care facilities throughout the province.
These are the 13 projects that will be upgraded:
The projects include:
• the second phase of a sprinkler installation project at E.M. Crowe Hospital and Personal Care Home in Eriksdale
• a new fire alarm system for Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall
• a new fire alarm system for Arborg and District Health Centre
• a new, two-bay emergency medical services facility in Easterville
• asbestos removal in the kitchen area at The Pas Health Complex, as well as upgrades to humidity control in the operating room
• a hot water system replacement at Winnipegosis Health Centre
• a fire stop and fire separation installation at Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg
• the second phase of a sprinkler installation project at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg
• a new operating room air-handling unit and dehumidification control installation at Winnipeg’s St. Boniface General Hospital
• a new air conditioner at Actionmarguerite St. Joseph in Winnipeg
• the upgrading of suicide prevention equipment at the PsycHealth Centre and Addictions Unit at Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg
