Yesterday morning the president of the University of Manitoba shocked many.
David Barnard disclosed that the University has many investigations going on including, sexual assault, harassment and human rights… five of which involve faculty.
These investigations do not involve a student complaining about another student.

The University of Manitoba will be making some changes including how they receive reports of sexual violence, and a new education campaign will be launched for students who are having trouble on or off campus.
Along with that training for all faculty and staff on sexual violence will be introduced.
The five open investigations are as followed:
One is for sexual assault and personal harassment
One is for sexual assault and sexual harassment
One is for sexual harassment
Two others are human rights investigations
