Mario, meet Minions. Today Nintendo confirmed reports that it’s working on an animated Super Mario movie with Illumination, the animation studio behind movies like Despicable Meand Minions.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported on the deal back in November. There’s little in the way of details about the film, but it’s being co-produced by Shigeru Miyamoto — the creator of Mario and many other iconic Nintendo characters — and Chris Meledandri, best-known for his work on the Despicable Me franchise.

There’s no word on when the movie will hit theaters, but Super Mario fever is at a high following the successful launch of Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch, which the company says has sold more than 9 million copies since its debut in October.
