Paris has just opened its first naked restaurant, called O’naturel.
Things kicked off with a private dinner for the Paris naturist society on Thursday and after that all went swimmingly, O’naturel has opened its doors to the naked public.
The concepts pretty simple. The restaurant sits just 40 guests and offers fairly standard French dining – think foie gras, steak, and fish rather than the Bunyadi’s raw veggie fare.
There are vegan options if you’re keen.
There’s plenty of posh wine available too, in case you need some liquid courage to strip off. Guests enter and are directed to a cloakroom, where they can leave their clothes, then they can sit down and get ordering and eating… naked. Unlike the Bunyadi, individual tables aren’t curtained off for privacy. The layout is that of a normal restaurant, with tables for two placed closely next to one another.
So yes, you likely would see other guests’ naked bodies, and they would see yours. What an intimate dining experience.
