The deep-fried cheesy delicious Pizza Pop is here to stay!
Paul Faraci is the man in charge of inventing the Pizza Pops back in 1964 here in Winnipeg!
Now Anthony Faraci is stepping into his great-uncles shoes and serving their Pizza Pop family recipe from his food truck!
Here is some back story on the Pizza Pop…
Paul Faraci owned a restaurant in Winnipeg where he created cheese-filled turnovers called “Pizza Pops”! Everyone love them so much he actually started manufacturing the snack and selling them to grocery stores. Paul and his partner later sold the business to Pillsbury and now Pizza Pops are made by General Mills!
Fast forward to now, Anthony Faraci is now hoping to bring back the original recipe and sell it here in The Peg.
So if you are wanting to try the original Pizza Pop you can out of Anthony Faraci’s food truck.
One of the first customers to the food truck was Winnipeg Mayor Brian Bowman…
