People Are Complaining About the Fake CGI Deer on “The Walking Dead”

Cheesy CGI isn’t new to “The Walking Dead”.  It’s used – and some would say OVER-used – in just about every scene where zombies are killed.  But fans have gotten used to it.  And those scenes move so fast, it kind of masks the crappiness.

But there have been a couple examples lately of really bad CGI that was glaringly obvious.  This past Sunday, Rick was checking out a deer that was about as poorly rendered as any monster you’d see on a Syfy Channel movie.

And the Internet had a blast with it – comparing it to everything from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to a sock puppet.

This came just two weeks after fans mocked a scene where Rick looked out over a massive garbage dump that was obviously a crappy green screen effect.
