It’s pretty crazy, but true!
Pete Davidson has had to deal with not just insults about his “butthole eyes,” but threats to his life since getting engaged to Ariana Grande.
“I got a death threat,” Davidson, 24, said on “The Howard Stern Show” on Monday (via The Blast). “Someone wanted to shoot me in the face because she’s so hot. You know how insane that is? It’s like, ‘Am I that ugly that people wanna shoot me in the face?’ They’re like, ‘F—k that guy.’ ”
It’s not the first time Davidson has addressed his perceived aesthetic discrepancy from his famous fiancée.
In August, he told Variety, “I’m still convinced she’s blind or hit her head really hard. Something is going to happen, and she’s going to be like, ‘What the f–k is this thing doing around?’ For right now, it’s rocking.”
Davidson admitted to Stern that he uses a security detail when he’s out with Grande, saying “it’s weird” but necessary, explaining, “It’s like ‘The Walking Dead’ out there.”
