Pride Winnipeg kicks off today!
The event will take place starting today (May 25th) until June 3rd! Pride will consist of different cultural events that supports or identifies with the LGBTTQ* community.
This years Pride Winnipeg theme is “My First Pride”! This is a chance to share your first Pride experiences or attend for your first time! The idea is to ensure that those who have not had the opportunity to attend Pride feel welcomed and embraced by the community! Plus, bridge the gap between New Priders and the community that actively takes part in Pride.
Today is the Pride Winnipeg flag raising and will take place at University of Winnipeg at 10:00 am.
The @PrideWinnipeg flag raising event at City Hall has been cancelled so they will be joining us on the Front Lawn tomorrow at 10:00 am! All are welcome to join as we celebrate the kick-off to Pride: https://t.co/F7eKLaZJVr pic.twitter.com/cH3ZCQrsf9
