He might be an A-list megastar now thanks to the likes of Magic Mike and GI Joe – but everybody has to start somewhere, and that includes Channing Tatum.
But how many of you remember that pivotal early moment from Channing’s career when he showed up in Ricky Martin’s She Bangs video?
Probably not that many of you to be honest since the actor – who appears as a topless bartender, no less – appeared fleetingly behind the singer in the clip.
And let’s face it you were probably too distracted by all the bumping and grinding going on in the video anyway. So let’s offer you a brief reminder:
OK, so Channing only shows up for a matter of seconds, but it was long enough to show off some enviable drink-making skills.
The actor, who was 20 at the time of filming, spent five days working on the video, pocketing a mere $400 (£256) for his troubles.
Still, given the fact that he’s now one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood – earning an estimated $60m alone in 2013 – we’re guessing this early appearance hasn’t done his career much harm.
