Take a Ride on a Piece of History This Summer

The Assiniboine Park Trolley was designed to resemble the streetcars that ran from the 1890’s to 1955 in Winnipeg.  This summer, you can ride in a piece of history from the Assiniboine Park Zoo to The Forks.

The Assiniboine Park’s trolley will be providing FREE transportation all summer long to another popular attraction in the city, The Forks!  Park and zoo visitors can hop on the trolley to head downtown, with many ride locations at the park; the Lyric Theatre, Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, Nature Playground, and Assiniboine Park Zoo.

You can even track the trolley’s location with a live GPS-based tracking map in real-time.

The trolley will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends until the end of June, daily in July and August, and weekends only in early fall.  Find the ride schedule at assiniboinepark.ca.
