Umm… The Oscars might not have a host for the upcoming award show!
Early last week it was announced that Kevin Hart would be hosting the 2019 Oscars, but that was short-lived after homophobic tweets from the past resurfaced and he stepped down.
I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

Now the Academy Awards are struggling to find a replacement, and are even considering having no host.
Canadian-American comedian and political commentator Samantha Bee responded to the news, tweeting:
“We need to find a new man to host!”
“How about a woman?”
“But can we find a man who isn't homophobic?”
"What about an LGBTQ…“
“Maybe no host?”
“But I think there's a woman or an LGBTQ comic who would be grea…"
"It's impossible to find the right straight man! No host it is!" https://t.co/uzBSUToy18— Full Frontal (@FullFrontalSamB) December 11, 2018
