The Top 10 Craziest Arena Foods for the 2017-18 NBA and NHL Seasons

MLB and NFL teams have stepped up the ridiculously awesome stadium foods game but the NBA and NHL have accepted the challenge.

If you travel to one of these arenas, you need to try these creations!

P.S. I feel the Jumbo Jet Dog and/or Heroes Sandwich need to be on here.  Just sayin’.

The Top 10 craziest arena foods:

10. Fried Chicken Poutine – St. Louis Blues

This meal includes local fried chicken with house-made tots, cheese curds, fried chicken, smothered in gravy. Don’t forget a fork, though, because this meal can get messy.

9. Topped French Fries – Boston Celtics and Bruins

The Bruins and Celtics are both giving fans a chance to smother their fries at TD Bank Garden. You can choose from the toppings of chicken parm, steak and cheese, Buffalo chicken or garlic parm.

8. Apple Crumble Pizza – Ottawa Senators

Is it apple pie or a pizza? We’ll let you decide. This dessert features caramelized apples, brown sugar streusel, salted caramel sauce and icing drizzle.

7. Cotton Candy Waffle Cone – Buffalo Sabres

I didn’t even know this was possible, but here we are. A waffle cone made out of cotton candy. Pure innovation is happening in Buffalo. This meal includes a choice of Perry’s Ice Cream, served in a cotton-candy-wrapped waffle cone and topped with Pop Rocks.

6. BBQ Pork Flauta – Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche

This easy-to-eat, handheld snack includes BBQ pulled pork rolled in a flour tortilla and fried, topped with red onion and a pickle. It is served with coleslaw and a side of home-style ranch for dipping.

5. Fried Desserts – Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder are bringing the state fair to the arena this season. Fans can get fried cheesecakes or fried Twinkies. Both are, of course, deep fried and topped with powdered sugar, chocolate and raspberry sauce.

4. Mission Dog – San Jose Sharks

The Mission Dog is a grilled hot dog topped with chipotle mac and cheese, chopped brisket, sour cream and pico de gallo. That’s a lot going on, but the flavors just might work.

3. Brisket Potato Waffle – San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs are turning potatoes into waffles and throwing smoked meats on it. How can’t we get excited about that? The brisket potato waffle is shredded potato, crisped in a waffle iron and topped with chopped brisket, shredded cheese and sour cream.

2. The Enforcer – Buffalo Sabres

The name alone is awesome. The Enforcer is Italian sausage served in a Costanzo roll and topped with pulled Buffalo chicken, blue cheese slaw and ancho BBQ sauce.

1. Triple Double – Phoenix Suns

Arizona sports teams seem to always own the top spot in these rankings, and for good reason, their food items are bonkers. The Triple Double is either a new take on brats or a new take on burgers — we’re not sure how to classify it. This is a double stack of beer-brat patties, beer-cheese sauce, caramelized onions and cider slaw on a butter-toasted pretzel bun.
