The University of Manitoba is celebrating their 140th anniversary and YOU’RE INVITED!!!
Tomorrrow, February 28th, the University of Manitoba will be holding an anniversary celebration featuring an outdoor winter festival and an opportunity to honour our past, present and future, as well as recognize Canada’s 150th birthday.
The UM community is invited to free lunch at noon followed by an outdoor ceremony on the steps of the Administration Building, including singing by the University Singers. The ceremony will conclude with birthday cake and hot chocolate.
You’ll find tons of winter fun like snowshoe races, s’mores stations and human foosball plus food trucks around The Quad throughout the day.
