Be Apart of Western Canada’s Largest Winter Festival This Year

Festival du Voyageur begins February 16th and the Wild Winter Canoe Race is back for another season!

The Wild Winter Canoe Race (which is exactly what it sounds like: teams of five race a canoe on groomed snow tracks) is on February 19th and they’re calling out volunteers to assist.

Money raised will support Inclusion Winnipeg’s Emergency Card Project for the design of a critical communication tool for people who have challenges interacting when in distress.

If you’d like to volunteer, you can sign up online or email volunteer@wildwintercanoerace.com.
