The Weeknd has officially cut ties with the clothing store H&M after a controversial photo.
The photo showed a black child modeling a hoodie reading “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle”. The Weeknd then tweeted this….

He began his partnership with H&M in 2017, modeling in ad campaigns and collaborating on pieces for his XO brand.
The photo blew up on social media calling out the ad as racially insensitive.
H&M was quick to apologize… “We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image. The image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States. We believe in diversity and inclusion in all that we do and will be reviewing all our internal policies accordingly to avoid any future issues.”
In this case, we don’t think an apology cuts it…
