People are making their voices heard!
The votes came in late last night.
Mayor Brian Bowman was re-elected as our Mayor.
…and Winnipeg voted “no” for Portage and Main.
Here are some of the most popular Tweets this morning reacting to the news:
To the people of #Winnipeg who cheered when it was announced that the No vote went through about Portage and Main:
You don't care about people with disabilities.
You're selfish.
You care about your cars more than you care about your neighbors.
You keep our city in the past.— Kieran (@kieranmoolchan) October 25, 2018

So we voted no on Portage and Main.
So how are we going to improve walkability, increase the population base of downtown so we can increase tax revenue without increasing taxes. We also need to figure out how to stop urban sprawl so we can afford to fix current infrastructure.
