Here is a different approach to teaching!
Instead of sitting in a classroom, there is a small, two-month ‘forest school’ in Winnipeg’s Charleswood community! Beaver Creek Academy in Manitoba provides learning with a difference. The idea is the teach youngsters through play, and you bet, this school is the first of its kind in the province.
The kids use the playground, climb trees, singing songs and learn lessons while sitting on tree stumps!
There are only 2 teachers, 14 students, and the class runs in September and October.
