Some buses in Winnipeg now have free Wi-Fi!
Yesterday, the city started rolling out free Wi-Fi on buses as a pilot project!
There will be 12 buses in the city that have this feature, which costs about $300,000. The 12 city buses will alternate routes over the pilot project period.
Mayor Brian Bowman has said that the service will improve the rider experience, and could potentially make buses safer!

There are mixed reviews about the project so far.
If you are looking to check out a free Wi-Fi bus, they will be clearly marked or you can visit the Winnipeg Transit website HERE.
