YouTube is the second most used search engine and a list of the top ten videos viewed through the website has come out! Some may come as a surprise, while others not so much…
Katy Perry, Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 made the cut!

10- Katy Perry “Roar”
“Roar” was released in 2013 and was a HUGE hit… in fact Katy’s “Roar” has been watched more than 2.11 billion times by fans!
9- Maroon 5 “Sugar”
“Sugar” came out in 2015 and fans loved it! They loved it so much they actually watched the music video 2.13 billion times… only about 20 more million view than Katy Perry’s “Roar”!
8- Enrique Iglesias “Bailando”
“Bailando” was released in 2014 and had a total of 2.22 billion views, while the English version has only been viewed 230 million times
7- Taylor Swift “Shake It Off”
No surprise here, but Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” made the list! The song came out in 2014 and the video has 2.23 billion views taking seventh place!
6- Masha and the Bear “Recipe for Disaster”
This is the only video on the list that isn’t a music video… this kids show has become everyone’s favourite since 2009. Children love it, especially this episode… it’s been viewed almost 2.3 million times!
5- Luis Fonsi feat. Daddy Yankee “Despacito”
“Despactio” was just released this year and has already made the list! The song has been charting extremely well, and the video has been viewed already 2.38 billion times! We think the number will continue to increase.
4- Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk”
One of our favourite songs to this day is “Uptown Funk” which came out in 2014! This song was an absolute hit and the video was even better! It scored 4th place on the list and was viewed over 2.5 billion times!
3- Justin Bieber “Sorry”
Justin Bieber made the list again with his hit “Sorry”! “Sorry” came out in in 2015 and everyone loved it! He wasn’t actually in the music video at all, but it ended up getting viewed 2.6 billion times!
2- Whiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth “See You Again”
This slower jam comes in at number two on the list! “See You Again” came out in 2015 and was part of the soundtrack in Fast & Furious 7! The track has now been viewed 2.8 billion times!
1- Psy- Gangnam Style
Coming in at number one is none other than “Gangnam Style”! “Gangnam Style” was released in 2012 and EVERYONE was obsessed with the video and song! People have watched the video 2.89 billion times!
