Assiniboine Park Zoo Reopens Tomorrow

YAY! Finally something to do!

The Assiniboine Park Zoo officially reopens tomorrow!

However, things will be a little different because of COVID-19.

• Visitors will enter through the main entrance at 2595 Roblin Boulevard and exit at a separate location just west of the main entrance.

• Hand sanitizer stations will be available at all food service locations and points of entry/exit within the Zoo, including the main entrance.

• The Zoo will maintain a significantly reduced occupancy level well below provincial requirements
  to allow for physical distancing. This may result in wait times at points of entry and service during peak visitation.

We are excited to announce that the Zoo will re-open to the public this Wednesday, May 13! We have made modifications for the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, visitors, and animals. Before you visit, please take the time to read about these modifications on our website (link in bio). ⁣ Before visiting, please pre-screen using the Province’s online screening tool and stay home if you have travelled outside of Manitoba within the last 14 days, if you have been in contact with anyone sick with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, or if you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms. ⁣ ⁣ We are also encouraging visitors to purchase tickets online in advance and (if visiting with children) bring your own stroller or wagon from home as rentals will not be available. ⁣ We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to the Zoo!
