Winnipeg Taxi Companies To Help Provide Rides To Vaccine Sites

Helping hands when we need it the most!

With many local, low-income seniors not able to make it to vaccine sites in Winnipeg…two taxi companies are trying to alleviate some of the strain:

Winnipeg’s two main taxi companies, Duffys Taxi and Unicity Taxi, are providing $10,000 in vouchers to community organizations to support low-income seniors and those that have any additional accessibility needs in getting to vaccination centres.#wpgpoli #community

Both Duffy’s and Unicity are providing $10,000 work of taxi vouchers to help low-income seniors and folks with accessibility needs get to the vaccine sites.

Once booking an appointment…eligible people can phone 211 to access the initiative.
