A Movie About “Blackberry” is in The Works

Yep, you read that headline right.

A new movie from director Matt Johnson is called “BlackBerry,” will detail the rise and fall of the Blackberry device.

It will show how it lost it’s market share to competitors such as Apple and Samsung.

At the heart of the story is the business relationship between co-founders Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie.

It has already wrapped production.
