As it stands, our current Covid-19 border restrictions are set to expire on September 30th, which has a lot of people questioning what is coming next when it comes to vaccinations and the use of ArriveCan.
Sources have said that the federal government plans to drop our Covid-19 vaccine border requirements. While there is no confirmation of which rules will be changing as of the 30th, a formal announcement is expected shortly.
Speaking to reporters, Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault said as Tourism Minister his goal is to make the border crossing as “unsticky” as possible
“What I can say (is) that my colleagues and I are going to make sure that we do the right thing to boost the economy but also keep Canadians safe and make sure that we’re moving on in this post-acute COVID phase,”.
