It’s been about 5 years since “The Boondocks” aired its last episode, but its apparently coming back!
Actor John Witherspoon said the animated series would be returning for a fifth season. The 77-year-old actor voiced the character of Robert Jedediah “Granddad” Freeman throughout the show’s four seasons.
“The Boondocks is coming back…It’s one of the best cartoons I’ve ever been on.”
