He’s been a bit of a celeb since the early 80s.
Zookeeper Jack Hanna…famous for his appearances on David Letterman’s talk shows and Good Morning America…has sadly and suddenly had to retire.

Hanna, 74, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and will retire from public life.
Besides running the Columbus Zoo, Hanna helped transition zoo animals from cages to more natural habitats. He had retired as the director last June.
Hanna’s true calling was as an ambassador. He made 102 appearances on Late Night and the Late Show with David Letterman.
