News broke earlier in the week that in Mindy Kaling’s upcoming series “Velma”…Velma Dinkley would be portrayed as LGBTQ+.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough…now you can watch the first 90 seconds of “Velma” footage:

The best part about the clip is Velma ranting about how a new “Judy Jetson Reboot” isn’t “boy crazy”.

VELMA is an adult animated comedy series telling the origin story of Velma Dinkley, the unsung and under appreciated brains of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang. This original and humorous spin unmasks the complex and colorful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers.

The series is due out next year. It stars Kaling, Sam Richardson, Constance Wu and Always Sunny’s Glenn Howerton.
