Winnipeg’s Kid Mayor is back for a second time!
Now is your chance for your child to become Winnipeg’s next kid mayor!
Last year was so successful that Mayor Brian Bowman is calling all children ages 8-12 years old to apply!
12-year-old Nazar Viznytsya was chosen last year and was able to participate in co-chairing a meeting, speaking to media about his ideas to improve the city, meeting the police chief and officially opening a new candy store!
With permission from a parent or guardian, if you have some great ideas that you’d like to see in the city apply now! Explain why you would be the BEST Kid Mayor in under 250 words! They are looking for children to explain what they think mayors do and what they’d do to make the city a better place to live.
