Super-Spike presented by Bud Light, returns to Winnipeg this July 17th & 18th for one of its most anticipated events to date.
Taking place at Maple Grove Rugby Park, Super-Spike combines Western Canada’s largest outdoor volleyball tournament with a weekend long concert series, all set in a festival atmosphere. This year the event is excited to welcome FeFe Dobson and Tyler Shaw as headliners! Numerous local Manitoba acts including Always Dale and multiple DJ’s will also be performing on the main stage throughout the weekend.
Public interested in registering a team for this year’s event can do so by visiting superspike.ca. Last year’s tournament sold out with 375 teams participating, however, this year the event has expanded its capacity to 400 teams. Early bird team registration is now open at only $59 per person through to June 5th. All Super-Spike tournament participants receive free access for the concert series and on-site festivities.
Early bird weekend passes for non-tournament participants are also on sale now and can be purchased for only $35 at superspike.ca. After June 5th they will go up to the regular price of $45.
Super-Spike, which will be celebrating its remarkable 24th anniversary this July, acts as a significant fundraiser with over $1.6 million raised to date for local not-for-profit groups. Along with its core charitable partner Volleyball Manitoba, funds raised from this year’s event will also support the Winnipeg Humane Society.
